Look how beautiful! I took this in Staunton a few months ago :)

10 Months!

I can't believe he is ten months old today.

He can do everything in RED.

Mastered Skills (most kids can do)

• Waves goodbye (more like "flails when you leave" at this point LOL)
• Picks things up with pincer grasp
• Crawls well, with belly off the ground (Nope. Still army crawling, hellbent on walking)

Emerging Skills (half of kids can do)

• Says "mama" and "dada" to the correct parent (he mostly just asks for the opposite parent when he's sick of you)
• Indicates wants with gestures (holds his hands up and waves them when he wants up, "points" at things, etc)

Advanced Skills (a few kids can do)

• Stands alone for a couple of seconds (he stands on his own for 2 seconds up to 20 seconds. Then he nosedives for the ground. He likes standing, and will walk if he is holding onto something, but he's scared to walk by himself? He laughs and falls over.)
• Puts objects into a container (He has a sorting cube and even tries to get the right shape in the right hole sometimes!)

Last night he was eating applesauce right out of the cup, just taking huge handfuls and shoving them in his mouth. He wants to learn how to use utensils but doesn't have the fine motor skills required. He gives up and just uses his hands, which he is very good at. What he lacks in the crawling department, he makes up for in the smart department. Which is a-ok with me!

Klaus and I have been meeting up with a friend from Bradley classes and her two sons. He hasn't quite gotten the grasp of playing with peers but he should soon. He seems to have a good time either way.

He started making this shrill scream yesterday. He utilizes it when he's playing and happy, and when he's throwing a tantrum. It's cute, for the moment LOL.. little turd.

We did go and see the doc for his sinus issue earlier this month. At that time he was 32 inches long (!!!! he's almost twice his size at birth!! Yikes!) and 20 pounds. What a MONSTER!!!

Almost 10 months :(
